Xcelsius Dashboards (Page 1 of 2)
Xcelsius is an application that uses Microsoft Excel to enable users to create attractive and informative dashboards and data presentations. These dashboards can then be distributed via email, deployed on a local network or made available on the Internet.

Using a simple point and click interface, schools can create an interactive  dashboard application which visualises the data and formulas contained in a spreadsheet. They can also connect to other data sources, such as SIMS.

Xcelsius offers a feature rich library of ready to use graphs, charts, maps, gauges, progress bars and more, enabling users to create interactive and engaging data visualisations into which they can drill down to further data.

Dashboards created using static data sources such as Excel, can only be updated when the Excel spreadsheet itself is updated. Linking to live data such as SIMS is preferable, where possible.

Once created, dashboards can be exported as Adobe PDF, SWF Flash or MS Office files. These files will display a snapshot of the data as it was when the export files were created.
